Spelunking Adventure: Capisaan Caves, Kasibu

Nueva Vizcaya, the adventure alternative destination of the Philippines is offering a 2day/2 night weekend adventure. This tour highlights the Capisaan Cave System, the fifth longest cave system in the country. Measuring 4.2 kms., the Lion and Alayan Caves in Malabing Valley, Kasibu are relatively new spots frequented by an increasing number of cavers and mountaineers. Located in Brgy. Capisaan, the two caves which are only a part of a cave network has layers of chambers with unique formations of stalagmites and stalactites. Geologists and speleologists have called it a Geologist’s paradise because of the varying rare formations inside these caves (Helectites, speleothems, straws, capers, columns, flowstones, etc.).

This spelunking adventure includes an orchard tour at Malabing, Kasibu, the Citrus Capital of the Philippines, caving at Alayan-Lion Caves, a cultural show, a local city/town tour (museum and Capitol) sightseeing, swimming and pasalubong shopping at Citrus Highway, Busilac, Nueva Vizcaya.

Land travel time from Manila to Nueva Vizcaya is approximately 7 hours.
