Leave hotel for shopping at the local market and souvenir shops for cashew nuts, dried and fresh fish and handicraft items.
Lunch at the hotel
Leave hotel for visits of:
Palawan Museum – Exhibits show archeological, geological and ethnological collections; pre-Hispanic jars and porcelains, hunting and trapping tools used by the early cultural communities, selected artifacts from the Tabon Caves and antiques from Cuyo town.
Immaculate Conception Cathedral – In 1872, a Spanish expedition proclaimed the Immaculate Conception of Mary as the patroness of Puerto Princesa. The angular structure, different from most churches in other parts of the country, provides visitors an interesting glimpse of unconventional religious edifice.
Palawan Wildlife Rescue and Conservation Center (formerly Crocodile Farming Institute) – The Crocodile Farm is showcase of successful conservation project. The farm breeds two endangered species found in the country including the endemic Philippine Crocodile. There is also a mini-zoo where the colorful Nicobar Pigeon, the raucous talking mynah, the elusive bearcat and other animals found in Palawan are sheltered.
Iwahig Prison and Penal Farm – Established by the Americans in 1904 to supply food to other prisons all over the country, Iwahig has since become synonymous to finely handcrafted bags and other souvenir items. In the prison without walls, inmates tend vast farms instead of idly spending time behind bars.
Palawan Butterfly Garden – A newly opened facility considered as the Philippines Gateway to Southeast Asian Butterflies. See live Palawan colorful butterflies and interesting species that closely resemble those found in Malaysia and other Southeast Asian nations. Visitors will find themselves surrounded by a myriad of fluttering butterflies within a seemingly natural setting.

Packed lunch and light snacks
Arrive Underground River – A World Heritage Site, this natural wonder features an 8.2-kilometer navigable Underground River, reputed to be the world’s longest that winds through a spectacular cave before emptying out in to the South China Sea. Cathedral chambers, wide hallways, and interesting geological formations greet the wide-eyed visitor to the grotto hidden beneath St. Paul Mountain. At the mouth of the cave, ancient trees growing right of the water’s edge frame a clear lagoon. Monkeys, large monitor lizards, and squirrels find their niche on the beach near the cave. Visitors can also enjoy bird watching, mountain trekking, a mangrove paddle boat tour and exploring the deeper part of the forest.
