The Dolphins and Whales

Dolphins and whales are mammals. They breathe air and maintain constant body temperature. Having mammary glands that secrete milk, they suckle their borne young. These very sociable creatures, like humans, live in very close family units. During your cruise, they would often display various natural behaviors such as bow-riding, breaching, logging, spy-hopping and spinning.

Guidelines:

To avoid accidents and to preserve the natural instincts of these animals, the following guidelines are to be strictly followed:

• Do not swim with the dolphins and whales.
• Do not touch the dolphins and whales.
• Do not feed the dolphins and whales.

March – October
Characterized by fair weather and calm seas

The rest of the year is affected by the Northeast Monsoon (Amihan) which makes cruising and sighting of dolphins difficult.
